yes it is too difficult ... too diffucult to not note that the simplicity f this b%w gives to this picture a really funny area, and express and put in evidence the amazing world of kids.

Really good shot. Is it possible to learn more about it? What is the source of light, where did you make this photograph? What was the set up? Thanks for sharing:-)
Ada Panich  Hi Alex, thanks for your interest. The first thing I can say this isn't a spontaneous shot, but I looked for it. So I created the situation and I waited. I was lucky becouse about ten shots and I got the picture as it was in my mind. The set was very simply, only an halogen lamp in front and a big white sheet behind. Then only some layers adjustments with photoshop to get b/w and a more white background. I hope it's enough and sorry for my english.

I wonder whether I will be able to reproduce a similar shot, I really like it. I will not publish it anywhere, it is your intellectual property, but I just want to master the light for this particular shot. So you say you only had one source of artificial light, no natural light? Was i bright enough? Did you have a tripod of something? Did you use a fill flash?

Ada Panich  Yes, it was day so there was a bit of natural light but I was far from the window. The lamp was 500W. No fill flash. No tripod but my camera was on the table just in front of the chess-board, perhaps over some books :D
Panasonic Lumix FZ30, 1/25, f/3.2, iso200, focal length (35mm equivalent) 77 mm.

No problem to reproduce it, I think we inspiring each other. And perhaps your shot could be even better so publish it too and don't worry :)
