In France when you're in an awkward position , we say that you're walking on eggshells... It seems to me that in English we say "to tread on thin ice" (?). Eggs are less dangerous for me!

Very "eggistentialist"! Treading on eggshells is also a common expression in english. I like the way you have illustrated this idiom clever but also consider that eggs because of their cargo are very strong...
