Quarrel

I was busy observing herons, when suddenly I heard an incredible noise on my right. The swans were flying right on me. I immediately tempted to catch them, without any time to adjust the focal length.

It's funny how it seems that the swan at the back is giving fly instructions to the other one.

David Rocaberti I can figure that out too: Mr Swan was caught flirting with some beautiful birds so Mrs Swan got mad :)

What kind of optic did you use?

Martine Muller I used my old 70-300mm (at maximum length), aperture f/8.
I was lucky because the light was very good, otherwise it lacks of speed sometimes..

I'm quite in love with the fantastic yellow-greenish colours in the picture. They give an impression of a amazing day. And the swans support this theory.
