Beautifully done John. the mist rolling in or cloud dispersing on the hills in the background is great and the tiny streak of light on the water in the mid distance draws the eye in. Now I'm even more intimidated ;-)
Wonder how the noise got there? Odd. . .

John Parminter Thanks Jon, don't know about the noise, the only explanation is that it was shot at 200mm and it was hazy/misty all other settings as as per my usual set up where the D300 gives excellent crisp clarity.

I'm quite pleased this one got published as it's a bit of a departure from my usual descriptive type landscapes and this one is a little more abstract and imaginative. I want to expand this side of my photography as well, so I'm chuffed. :-)

There was a few interesting comments in screening regarding the grain/noise issue of which I will take note. I didn't introduce it in processing as it was there in the RAW file, odd as it was correctly exposed at ISO200.
