By donkey on the Karakorum Highway

Xinjiang, China, Karakol-area. On the Karakorum Highway on an altitude of 3500 m. It is an important connection between China and Pakistan.
But empty, very empty. The donkey was running very fast and I was far away. Had to run very fast to make the one and only picture... :-)))

hoi Reggy,
ik was even aan het rondneuzen op diverse sites op zoek naar foto's van China, Tibet, Nepal, India en kwam bij deze plaat terecht. Actueel gebied......
Prachtige foto. Ik vertrek zaterdag naar bovenstaande landen.

Zeg een prachtige plaat weer zeg,ik zei al es ,jij reis de wereld wel af,dus omgevingen zie je wel,maar weinig maken de plaat ook echt goed en mooi he!
Scherpte zit van voor tot achter,vette diepte,en prima belicht.
Gaaf ook de man met ezel op een snelweg,zo lijkt het haast!

I KNEW that was XinJiang from the thumbnail. My wife is from there and it is an amazing place. Reminds me a lot of Australia. So flat!

The roads are so good and so long and so desolate and empty. I am planning on going back there in CNY to shoot up in the mountains as well.

Going to shoot it on Velvia in 120 or 4x5 format!!

Kwaliteit verloogend zich niet.
Helemaal te gek.

Nederlands is een moeilijke taal.
Maar de foto is prachtig.

Maar nederlands is inderdaad soms niet gemakkelijk, dat zal ik niet ontkennen.
Reggy  Ik geef niet om een t, een d of een dt hoor Nico. En Ebbo was veel te schoolmeesterachtig. Hij wist trouwens niet dat Jackalope Nico was, had het anders nooit geschreven. Hij heeft straf gekregen van mij, hahaha, en ik geloof wel dat hij spijt heeft :-))))

I almost expected this to be in documentary- it looks like it could be found in National Geographic. Wonderful scenery and a very compelling image. Love the mountains.

Nice picture of a beautiful landscape!
Very sharp and clear with some strong colors, but maybe it's a bit to much in the sky.
