passionate
There is a scene in a old movie ("From Here To Eternity" where Deborah Kerr and Burt Lancaster passionately kiss, lying on the beach, ocean waves lapping over them. The same scene is spoofed in one of the "Airplane" movies, seaweed all over the place. These two forks wanted to recreate that scene, and they did, with great abandon.

Wonderful feeling in this image of a warm relationship between two objects. Inspirational shot with great movement.
Ursula I Abresch  Thank you very much, Brita!

I have heard of spooning.
Never heard of forking.
Nice work. Very passionate indeed.
Ursula I Abresch  Well, you heard it here first :) Thank you!

Ursula I Abresch  Thank you, Fernand, for your nice words :)

Ursula, you impress me with your forks. The first time I saw them I remembered my own fork-pictures. I made a series when I was still doing analog. I looked at those old paper copies. They don't come even near your fabulous images.
You are really telling stories. :)
Ursula I Abresch  Thank you, Anna. I think digital has made it easier to make images like this, in particular for non-professionals like myself. It allows for a lot of easy experimentation. :)

Ah, mi amor! This is so sexy I want my face to stop smiling. Did you bend the bottom fork? (I would have). Lovely.
Ursula I Abresch  I did, bend the bottom fork that is. I'm glad your face is smiling :)

Very creative. Amazing how you can make it so obvious that passion is the theme using a couple of forks.
Don
Ursula I Abresch  Thank you, Don. That's because forks have a lot of feelings, you know. :)

Great use of DOF. I like the explanation, although I guessed at the "passion"
Ursula I Abresch  Thank you. I'm glad you got the idea of passion without the explanation :)

Ursula, this shot couldn't have come from anyone else but you! And I mean this as a compliment! Truly amazing, how you breathe life into something so inherently boring like forks :)
All the best
Michael
Ursula I Abresch  Thank you, Michael, I much appreciate your comment :)

I didn't know that forks could be oh so sexy. :-) This is just wonderfully whimsical creativity.
Ursula I Abresch  Oh, but Tracy, they are! :) Thank you.

Great work Ursula, you have taken your forks to another level... didn't think emotions would be a part of this concept...
"Hmmm, done abstract angles and shadows... whats next..? The Hitchcock thing worked out pretty well... maybe I'll do the movie thing again..?"
But from there to land on a sandy beach with kissing forks in the waves is rather far... Great imagination!
I wonder what would come out if we placed you and your forks together with Angela Bacon-Kidwell in a car together and run you through a carwash..?
/Thomas
Ursula I Abresch  How 'bout me in the car (with camera) and Angela on the hood?

Thank you for the comment!
Thomas Ljungberg  By the way, I forgot to tell you. I like the way you bent "Deborah Kerr's" back. Very sensual...
/Thomas
Ursula I Abresch  Yeah :) I ruined a fork in the process.
Thomas Ljungberg  That's an idea. King can do the lighting and Daria and Anna Constantinova Bagosha give some ideas on the postprocessing... Interesting, interesting indeed...
/Thomas
Ursula I Abresch  Yeah, it could be the "Group Effort with Car-wash and Forks" :)

Ursula!...::gasp of shock::...this one is positively NAUGHTY!...haha! I loved that movie and your fork version of it is beautiful!
Ursula I Abresch  Oh, Mae, you make me blush ... :)

Great...try with spoons,also!
Ursula I Abresch  Thanks! Spoons aren't nearly as cooperative though, they're rather self-centred creatures; not like forks - forks are show-offs.
Great! The things you can do with kitchen stuff amazes me. :)
Ursula I Abresch  As I said before, as long as I don't have to cook ... (Thanks!)

Damn - you're fast!!!!! Great shot, Ursula. (I made the comment about Deborah Kerr) haha
Ursula I Abresch  Thanks, Judy, for both comments :) You know that I got it backwards though, in the poster, Deborah is on top; oh well.
