Swirling Stacks ...
A rare scene whereby 3 x Gresley A4 Pacifics line up next to each other and 'warm through' ready for service on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway.

Taken before the sun had broken the horizon in the Grosmont engine yard.

sut68,

Lovely, powerful image for me. I myself worked in an around steam engines ca. 1975 so for me, it brings back pleasant memories, your image does.

Go well.

Eeee, a choo-choo shot. very classy indeed this Paul, even I like it and I haven't an interest in trains at all.

Is this your first of many publications?

JP
sut68  I hope that these fine machines reach across to many people John, I don't think you necessarily have to be a fan to appreciate them for what they are, though a tailor made anorak does help LOL ;)

Not sure if this is the first of many but this one seemed to 'whistle' through screening in double quick time though :)

I love these images, just too far for me.

Ian
sut68  Cheers mate, I'm sure there's some depots/yards nearer to you though.
