maravilha de luz, muitíssimo bem aproveitada

Rui Pires Obrigado, Jovelino. Uma fotografia que me agrada bastante até porque a fiz com uma câmara de grande formato "press" igual à utilizada pelo Joe Rosenthal em 1945, quando fez a célebre fotografia dos soldados americanos a segurar a bandeira, em Iwo Jima :) Abraço !

What I love better about this photo is the light and the way the goats align on the diagonal to the lower right corner balancing with the man.

Wonderful image, Rui. Was this focused with a rangefinder?

Rui Pires No, King. Graflex have a kalart rangefinder but i never use it. I put camera on tripod, i meter light with gossen, then i focus it via normal focusing screen, give maximum tilt at lense board, you know Graflex as all press cameras have limited movements, then i wait. I know João will pass here with goats in few minutes. So, i wait and "click" :) Fortunely goats when see me stoped and make this special "pose" eh eh eh

Beautiful light Rui. The goats have never seen a camera like yours by the looks of it. They're thinking "Get an iPhone, they are much less trouble."

Sometimes it's about the moment and sometimes the cameraman and his box. here I find a curious friendly and patient photographer at the right time. :)
having read some comments now. I'd add something to phyllis' comment of their possible thoughts about you and maybe your camera... hardly maybe someone behind you, saying "why do you do this man?". this is really a funny excellent photo.

Rui, I know you set up the camera put it on self timer and ran into the picture. Great moment. you look the part :))) as always working with a field camera rocks the house. you know there is a few digital ones.

I setup the camera, focus and just wait things happens there with shutter cable in hand. Then goats came, i ask goats to say "cheese" and voilá ! :)))
