Very impressive photograph of this definite dangerous, unhealthy and very tough job they doing with protection next to nothing.
Astonishing that at least they wearing boots;-)
In Nepal I have seen high up in the Himalayas barefoot road construction workers. And this in wintertime with snow around!
In Germany for such labour it's law to wear special security shoes. In Nepal a horny skin is sufficient:-)

The guy on the left makes me think of a warrior, holding a spear ready, entering the cave of a deadly dragon (I like how his knee is bent). Their works is most definitely dangerous.

Love the orange in those sulphur cakes; even the color of the baskets complement it nicely. Looks yummy enough that I want to eat it, though instead of nuriousment it's poison. Nice contrast.
Mitchell Kanashkevich  Thanks for that lengthy comment:). Interesting observation. I had a photographer friend who I have great respect for mention the dragon cave thing before, great that the image can have this impact on the viewer.

Effective documentary again Mitch! The smell must have been terrible! Or I am mistaken about sulphur smelling really not-so-nice?
Mitchell Kanashkevich  Actually not only the smell, inhaling that smoke made you feel incredible burning and your insides felt like they were going to jump out. This must be one of the most difficult jobs in the world.

It's Breath taking Moment,I like the expression of the sulphur miner. I have same Idea with mr.KoPi, its looks like tremble at the ground.

Greetings From Tobelo, North Halmahera, Indonesia
Mitchell Kanashkevich  Wow, Halmahera? I hope to get to that area some day:) Thanks for commenting.
Ginanjar Rah Widodo  you can contact me, if you want to visit Halmahera. call me via gtalk: rahwidodo

strong again. merely out of curiosity, a question... why is the fg and part of the basket so blurry. at first I thought it was narrow dof, but somehow that doesn't make sense. Almost looks as if the earth was trembling (not that that makes sense). Again, not really critisizing, just curious.
Mitchell Kanashkevich  The focus is on the face, so it is the result of a narrow DOF - anything closer or further than the face will be slightly less in focus.
KoPi  okidoki. Thanks
