Thanks for checking it out first of all. I don't talk too much about the technical side of photography on my blog. In the future I may write a tutorial or two, but for most part it is about the practical side of taking the photograph or some anecdote that gives the readers an idea of what it is like to be a travel photographer.

This is well constructed shot going way beyond a reportage. And in B&W looks much better then it might look in colour. (I checked your link).
Mitchell Kanashkevich  Thanks Timor. I felt that some worked better as color, some as B&W. I think the B&W certainly does emphasize the drama in this image a whole lot more.
Timor Tom  Yes, off course you are right, in many situations colour is a must. Is just for me B&W very offten has this archival ( to not to say historic) feel. Colour might be interpreted, can make photogram shallow or unreal (sometimes very desired), B&W is strait and you know right away is good or not. "Morning catch" is simply satisfying, well composed picture.
