Richard Ford  Thanks Lars... many more to come.... I really tried hard to capture the real China while out there. Well one side to the real China - without getting all cliche like shooting beggars, or like Africa shots that show a woman walking with a pot of water on her head.

I really hope I manage to do the people, place and experience justice..

Richard Ford  Thanks Lars. After some testing and bracketing, it seems that in these conditions +1 exposure compensation always returned white snow and no blow outs anywhere else. Seems the D300 was not fooled too much. I placed my F80 at + 0.5 and +1. I hope those shots turn out because 90% of my shots were taken on film. And they were all far more planned and careful than the digital spray and pray....
