Very nice composition. Having this in B&W probably added to the overall coolness here. Is it a colorless building, or did you just choose B&W to bring out the contrasts?

Most of the building is coated with some sort of metal sheets, so that a b/w rendition is very valid here. You don't lose too much colors. There are some colorful parts eleswhere in the complex though. There is a yellow structure and another one featuring brown/red.

Not in France, but in Cambridge (close to Boston) where I live. This building is part of the MIT campus. It was designed by architect Frank Gehry. There are several laboratory and research department in there.
It reminds me a bit the awesome "cubic houses" from Rotterdam - (a city where modern architecture is stunning.

jacques philippe Effectivement, c'est une construction très particulière. En même temps assez difficile à photographier car ça part dans tous les sens. Finalement ce cliché là (le 1er de la série que j'ai faite) est le moins spectaculaire, mais celui que je préfère (modulo une exposition pas tip-top)

C'est justement la sobriété du cadrage (néanmoins tiré au cordeau) qui lui donne sa force. Pas d'effet de manche. Et un bel éclairage.
