Martin, I'm a big fan of shots where you have to find the differences in a somewhat regular pattern, and this is one of my favourites! Love the color combination too!

Ah - now I know not to waste my time on my feeble attempt at a shot like this that I have proofed recently. I thought it was clever and good until I saw yours. Did that sound like a compliment? I hope so!

Cheers,
RF.

Martin Gremm  Richard, I am flattered! Much appreciated :)

Nevertheless, let's see your version. I am curious and no doubt yours will have a very different atmosphere and flavor to it. There is more than one way to do this!
Richard Ford  Nah... already gone to the dust bin. Instead I am going to go back and re shoot it with velvia in 120 format when the sun is out and see if I can make a photo of Urban China pop with colour.

Very well seen, I wish I could borrow your eyes for a couple of hours ;))
Really nice work, Martin!
Martin Gremm  Thank you for the kind words, Daria. I have strong evidence that your eyes work at least as well as mine :)

Nice photo! Wondering about lives behind this curtains. =]
Martin Gremm  Me too! I took great care not to find out, though. The truth is bound to be much more mundane than anything we imagine. Thanks for dropping in!

Martin Gremm  I see your three and a half and raise you two and a half :) Thanks for stopping by!

I agree...the top right crooked shade makes it!
Martin Gremm  I think so too. I doubt I'd have taken the picture if the shade had been straight. Thanks for checking it out, Joan!

I like this because of the colors, the 2D-effect (complete lack of depth) and the "disquiter" window on the top right. Regards, Frank
Martin Gremm  Thank you for the insightful comment, Frank! I agree that the crooked shade is essential to keep it from being too antiseptic.
