The First Frost

Winter comes late in Southern California, this morning was our first frost. This is near San Antonio Falls above Mt. Baldy Village, CA.

Clyde Beamer  Pretty much my extended backyard. This is on the slopes of Mt. San Antonio, better known as Mt. Baldy near my house in Claremont, CA, USA. This is along the trail to San Antonio Falls and is about a 20 minute drive and a 10 minute walk from my house.
Clyde, this is such a beautiful photograph. I wish I could see this. :)

Small world, I'm from the Inland Empire. Good shot. It can be hard to find a stand of trees without fire damage and it looks like you have have, good find.
Clyde Beamer  Where do you live, we should hike some together... Have you ever been up in the Mt. Baldy/Ice House Canyon area of the San Gabriel Mountains??

Clyde Beamer  Thanks Martine, it was a special morning, overcast with just little breaks of sunlight. They were very fleeting because the wind was blowing pretty good.
