I am really sorry to say that I am not able to see what is so great about this image. So could someone please take the time to explain it to me?

I can see that its sharp, but it looks more like a snapshot to me.

(I am not trying to diss the shooter or the photo, but if I am ever going to get a picture of my own on here, I need to learn, right?)

I must say, I am bit surprised that this shot has got such a big attention, almost 10000 unique views. And it´s not even sharp, well the car is sharp but the street paint is not. Also on the negative side, there are a few burnt out places on the car. What makes the photo good is the yellow colour, I think, and that it is exactly the same colour on car and street. "Impact" is a significant word on OE and here you have a shot with a lot of impact. The shot is also well-balanced with a number of diagonals.

The image was shot in Mexico City in 1990 and I was happy the paint was yellow, not white. I think those yellow beetles were used as taxis. So this is a scanned photo. Many of my scanned photos have been rejected because of technical quality but this one made it all the way.
