Beautiful capture, and I have to agree with Calle - would be wonderful to see this as a panorama shot.

its a lovely photo. The reflection is nice but the really nice part is the rocks at the bottom of the lake. I would love to see this photo as a panorama. So if you ever go to that lake again, please take 3 pictures, so you have the lake in the middle and more of the mountains on the sides.
But this is a lovenly image just as it is.. /Carl
Christin Gilbert  Thank you Calle. I will definitely coming back next year.

This is lovely. It reminds me why I need to move back west, closer to the mountains.

WOW, we get nothing like that in Australia. Like the water and reflection just dragging you into the picture

I love this picture. Where exactly was it taken? I was in Jasper last year.
Christin Gilbert  Hi Jeremiah,

The lake is located about 32 kilometers (19 miles), southeast of the Jasper town. The water sometimes disappearing altogether during fall or winter, due to an underground drainage system and spring run-off. I believe this is the largest SINKING lake in the Western Hemisphere.

I hope it helps. Thank you everyone for the comments.
