I was drawn to this image while just hanging out, browsing, and was surprised to see the comments already written. So, I am also provoked into commenting.

Fine art nude is a category that tries to combine technically flawless imagery with just enough eroticism while retaining good taste. That's MY definition anyway. Your image hits all three of these perfectly. When an image like this is successful, you want to linger on the model's figure, but you also wish you could get to know more about her. There's a depth to her, not just a pretty face (or whatever). As for the discussion about how this or that doesn't follow the rules, all I have to say about that is "RULES?? We don' need no stinkin' rules!" :)

There's a reason why it has so many views. It's flawless. Good luck in the future. If you know this model, tell her I think she is flawless as well.

soft and feminine. makes me want to stare at her beauty. such a pretty smile and look on her face, as well. A beautiful model. You seem to work well with her.

This is good - at last we get a discussion going! Disagreements are good. It shows that there are no absolute evaluations of photographs, or any kind of art. I agree that the mood of this image is much more important than minor criticisms, but something that comes so near top of the list inevitably should attract scrutiny. I have to admit I was also a little provoked into commenting!

Richard, I don't agree with you at all, that is a very minor detail in an excellent photo. It's the overall impression that counts. The feeling and message of happiness are very strong!

Well the high tone effect is fine, but it's distracting for me the way the hair at right hand side merges with the background - in combination with the prominent shadow at left this unbalances it for me

It's quite right as it is. It's only - not underexposed

so much so no one even noticed that it's overexposed....

Isn't it curious that the second most popular imnage of all time only has this one comment? (well two now). I wonder what this tells us
