What a wonderfully conceived image. You are to be congratulated for spotting this, conceiving the idea, and then capturing it. The use of selective focus is the icing on the cake.

This is by far a more creatice and interesting way of using the macro technique. Great stuff, Stephen!

Stephen Many thanks Ulf, perhaps creative, but definitely no macro used :D This was a Canon 70-200mm f2.8L I love to control DOF like this though and the bokeh on that lens is superb

Thanks Tim, much appreciated, sometimes the best shots present themselves from nowhere, and your response to them makes or breaks the photo. Reckon the 70-200 did a good job here :)
