A very original shot Mal, great cropping, superb composition, very nice colors, but you know, I have always a problem with the great blank zones - they capture the look out of the essential - in this case it was possible to avoid it by making two shots, one like this one and a second one with 4 or 6 less diaphragms to hold on some details in that blank zone, and then to combine the two shots with PS, a sort of HDR approach... Nethertheless, I find this shot a great one !

Even if the idea isn't very unique (I've even tried something similar, although with "slightly different" result :-)) this picture really comes through. The colours are simply magnificent!

I'll have to take some time off this weekend and go practice...
