Hi Christoph, somehow I missed this when it was posted -
such a beautiful moment, that lovely serene intensity of mother and baby, so beautifully captured and softly processed. Great work. My own baby daughter is 17 now and out shopping to buy a dress for her school formal (what they'd call a prom in the US) - I know it's a cliche but it seems like such a short time ago that she was the size of little Anni here -
Enjoy this precious and amazing time!

A mother with a child.For this woman,if she is a mother, I think this is the most beautiful picture in the world,but for me,please forgive me,it is nothing special from my artistic point of the view.Maybe because I am not a big fan of low contrast monochrome images.

Christoph Hessel Hello Eobert, hank you very much for taking the time to express your opinion about my image, I respect and appreciate this greatly, really no need to ask for forgiveness! I understand that you're feeling that this image is nothing special, I am sure that you're not the only one but I still believe that this kind of images are needed, as You can read below, they wake memories, and convey emotions, not oly to the ones portrayed. This is what I call (and other people too) 'everyday' photography, not spectacular but hopefully touching where you might be interested more about reaching a feeling, many are talking about 'the mood'. some people could find something in it, You not, that's ok for me. Anyway, what I know is that I'll still try to remain sincere with myself and to do what I have to do, no matter what! Have a wonderful week!

Anni and Marei are so amazing here. All in white an clean light. Life is miracle. The ancient Greeks believed that the child comes with a full soul and memories of previous lives, so all our life is forgetting not learning. Because all children understand all the fairy tales, although they are very abstract. Here we see a view of a baby fully aware of being in his mother, as say I understand you all, I dont know why you dont know that. Ha, ha. Bravo Christoph and Marei. Good luck.

Chris and Marei..I was so hoping you would submit this picture.

The lightness in the room is so perfect for this scene.. They are a wonderful pair these two. When Anni sees this photo - after she herself becomes a Mom...this photo will resonate even more for her...Funny, when I look at them here I can almost see that scene..Anni holding her daughter...and on and on the cycle of Mother/Daughter relationship goes.
