“Yayasan Galuh” is a house of rehabilitation for mental disability,
the place is about 20 km east of Jakarta, Indonesia
It is a non profit institution which was established in 1983 by founder
Mr. Gendu Mulatip
He started everything with very limited budget and facility, all depend on his own money and donation from friends and relatives.
Right now they are taking care 264 patients from diferent race ,background, male and female , young and also old.
They live, eat and sleep in 4 locking big hall ( sorry to say I rather call it cages )
Without bed, blanket or pillow, only open hall with cold dirty floor

Everybody call the boy Eko ( 10 years ) he is the youngest patient there,
The boy was victim hit and run of a car 4 years a go, He just abandon in the street and nobody was helping him until a man took him and brought to “Yayasan Galuh”
The boy lost his memorize, couldn’t even remember his own name or
where he comes from..
but when I asked him “ are you happy?” he replied..
Yes, I’m very happy! “What you’re gonna be someday when you growing up? “
He said..” I want to be a President! “
