Schiehallion
After a 2 hour climb in 60mph winds and -20C windchill I finally reached the summit of Schiehallion, imagine my delight at the expansive view I had in mind....

The conditions for photography were so difficult, my hands had stopped working and were very painful but I was determined to achieve an image considering the effort I had put in.

Schiehallion is a famous mountain, in 1774 Nevil Maskelyne, the Astronomer Royal used Schiehallion in an experiment to determine the average density of the earth using a pendulum and detecting the gravitational attraction of an isolated and symmetrical mass, Schiehallion was the perfect object.

Your story is the picture and your picture explains the story. It's a wonderful story and the picture is part of it. Congrats.

The weather conditions are perceived very well ... the icy crust that has formed on the rocks, making them look like the white sponges, tells of the intense cold and high wind. A great atmosphere, I love it. Bravo John!
