It is hard not to think here of the Richard Avedon's great shot of the lady with the elephants. The elephants here do not "dance" with the lady (well, just the opposite, the lady is dancing, sort of), but they are not (at least not visibly) chained (unlike in the Avedon's photo) - I prefer it this way. The Avedon's model is great, but affected. This model feels natural here between the elephants; it is like "me and my friends elephants", not the "I am the centre of the Universe and I command here" look and behaviour of the Avedon's model. So I prefer this shot over the Avedon's photo, which is great.
