Great portrait Kevin. I can see that you have started to use several strobes/speedlights. Lighting is a very fascinating topic. I have read tons of articles about lighting in the last year and have built up a little home studio with two strobes. The most challenging thing is to get people to model for you. You seem to have a very supporting and patient family though. Mine is harder to motivate.

Kevin, expression is priceless...a mix of - many things..so one can interpret it in many ways..One moment she looks like she wants to kill you, next moment she looks sad, next moment in grief...you did a wonderful job with this. Her hair falling over her eyes like that...I always love those kinds of pictures... The light falling on her hair is of course the cherry on top of this beautiful portrait of her.
