What a beautiful image, Ursula! I love the way you have allowed the rock at the top right to be so sharp and textured/detailed, with wonderful colours, and the rest of the image smooth and flowing. When you say you used Photomatix on parts of the image, do you mean on that rock specifically or other parts? Just love it :)

Hi Ursula
a good one for me !!!!
love how the result is coming out
the sharpness of the rock
the different speed of water that gives you different result
and the mix of all

a great one for me !!!!

Unquestionably it's an original point of view but if I can be honest you have something better on your portfolio.
Clearly it's only MHO ;)

Ursula I Abresch  Thank you for writing. It would be too much to expect anyone to produce a better picture than all their prior pictures each and every time. What I don't understand is the need to point this out. Why?
Federico Tabarrini  I wanted to say that the shot (IMHO) is not the best you took, though, i'ts unquestionably an original point of view. I thought to be free to comment in a different way. Far from me to offend your art: if you perceived that please accept my apologies.
Ursula I Abresch  I didn't take it as an offense. I agree with you, it isn't my best. I find it limiting though to have to work at excelling all the time. There are many times I would like to just appreciate beauty with my pictures just because, not trying to impress more and more. Plus, there have been discussions about bias in screening as it relates to who the photographer is, and that gets me a bit touchy. I want to be able to continue making photos, as I see them, regardless of who I am at 1X. I hope both those points make sense. Thank you again for writing. I truly appreciate it.

wondering how you got those details. very impressive, Ursula.
Ursula I Abresch  It is a long exposure made in darkish conditions, at sundown, tripod on rocks. I edited using Photomatix plugin for sections of the photo, to bring out detail in the dark areas. Thank you, Sebastian.
