Thomas Ljungberg Thank you Abbas. The 85 f/1.2L is extraordinary sharp, even when shot wide open. So when you hit the focus at this distance, it can really make the image pop :-)

Superb, Thomas. Only these lashes and nose in focus, but that it plenty. A very good example of how to use these ultra-fast lenses in portraits. You must have been pretty close too.

Thomas Ljungberg Thank you for your nice feedback, appreciate it. I wanted to focus on the very nice makeup and the lashes, keeping the bouquet and dress in frame to give the wedding context. Jana is kneeling/squatting down making it possible for me to shoot from above when standing beside her. I have corrected the equipment data, this is shot with the 85mm and not the 50mm that I first stated. Sorry for that. I guess I'm rather close to the shortest focusing distance of that lens
