As I mentioned, both in this one, and II - this girl is a born model, and I am really going to keep up relations with this family. ......serious attitude problem! If looks could kill? I think that of the two shots of Anastasia that I have seen this has to be more captivating though it would have been better she was looking at you. The folded arms as well just reinforce her "little madam" looks! Another splendid addition to your burgeoning portfolio here!

Andre du Plessis Thanks Gerry. After this publication I again went back into the files to see if there was anything else on Stacey that I can work into an image, and it stuck me that in every frame I have of her, none are akward in appearance, even the ones that I took candidly - her photogenicity allows her to come out impressive in any frame. Might just see if I can try another ... :) Really looking forward to re-visit this family. As far as the little madam look -spot-on!

Andre, When I see this expression I think...may her husband have a lot of patience and humor...because i cannot imagine her taking him seriously. :) Great moment.....she will be a powerful woman. Andre du Plessis Hi there Phyllis. Anastasia I was the original one of the straight-on look that ended in Critique. I agree that she definitely seems like someone that will cast a long shadow. I certainly hope that she manages to get the educational opportunities and challenges that seemingly will walk in par with her appearance. I shall keep tabs on this family, and visit again to ask more about them and the kids. I have a feeling that there might be more piccies awaiting me at Stacey's house. Thanks, and regards, Andre

This has 'MADAM' written all over it. The facial expression and stance with arms folded gives the image a strong feel to it. Like it, like it lots.

Andre du Plessis You were right ... I decided to re-visit my files on this girl called Stacey, and rather liked this one, and although it is quite similar to my earlier publication on her, the profile view of this child seemed to carry enough impact, and thus I hoped to get this accepted. I think that the two portraits might work well as a diptych .... an idea that Stephen Edds put into my mind.

Andre du Plessis Indeed she has Linda, however, this image was not planned. She was looking straight at the lens, as I asked her (Anastasia II), but some of her friends were making fun of her, thus the momentary stare to the left. I managed to catch that glare as I had her already framed and was working with a tripod. Thanks, Andre

Admittedly, I do not know Stacey well, as I simply asked for permission to park my car immediately outside their front gate, and then I saw this little girl with the irresistible hairstyle, and immediately decided there and then that she will be my 1st subject:) Looking forward to present this family with the two portraits of her, printed side-by-side. That will happen in January.
