Congratulations Rui. This is an amazing series. I agree with so many of the earlier comments. I love the richness of information and the emotional connection your images allow. There is one aspect that starts in no.5 where the light in the background changes (or maybe it is the dust?) so the wonderful detail in the foreground contrasts with the sunlight or bright light has appears to cover the goats as they begin to disappear up the path. I love this work!!! Thankyou for sharing with us.

Rui, it has been said already, but even before reading the comments I felt that #3, 5, and 11 are really strong ones photographically, with 2 and 7 (or 8) completing the story and closing it nicely - for me would be more coherent. anyway, thanks for sharing and congrats on the publication!

The 1 and the 2 are the same....the 5 and the 6 are the same....the 7 and the 8 too....I think the concept of "series" isn't a multiple shots mode but telling a story of a concept with different point of view following a unique mood ( like Codrin for example).Sorry but I think that Maria's day could give more imput than only these same shots.( Maria is cooking....Maria is washing dresses for family and so on). Just my humble opinion yes.saludos

This series is simply extraordinary, I agree when someone says that is the best series published so far.
I have to say again Rui,
you are an extraordinary photographer, your work is fantastic, this is pure photography.
for me the best picture is the number eight, you already know what I think about her .. it is for me, the best of all the work "moments rural"it gives me a amazing feeling..
for me, you already are among the great photographers of our time.

A great series Rui, as you already know I love your work! Just a very personal observation, nothing critical at all, I'd concentrate the series a bit, just with a couple of images which I find to be slightly redundant, anyway, each of them is great due the expression you've captured, but they are not strengtening the 'whole'. Anyway I love this! Have a wonderful Sunday!
