Fantastic capture, I live and work at an assisted living facility and see this sort of scene on a daily basis. I love the way you captured the few remaining important photos and what was likely her favorite vase along with a precious life hanging on to her short life left here on earth. Nice Photo, really tells a story.

Comprendo tus emociones en el momento de decidir y realizar la foto; el momento lo requería. Lejos de mostrar algo cruel o morboso has conseguido enseñar un momento decisivo y duro pero rodeado de elementos cotidianos con lenguaje propio: el tapete de la cómoda ligeramente movido, las flores marchitándose, los retratos de una vida, la pieza de ropa que asoma, indolente, por la rendija del armario. la estampa de la virgen, la viveza de la colcha.... todo lo cotidiano, incluso la muerte, queda recogido de forma "normal". Mis felicitaciones por el resultado y por tu decisión.Saludos.

The subject is for sure not an easy one !
but you treated it in a very decent manner, without any voyeurism behaviour
I guess it comes from the play with the mirror..

Every element of this shot (the fallen flower, the hand at the bottom left corner, the face of the old woman, etc) tells a strong story !! What a brave decision for not making this shot into a black and white one !! What a shot :)
