The first plan was for sure really interesting also
but you really simplify the picture

Very beautiful landscape and nice with the light on the mountain
have also seen both versions and like both
would have liked to see more of the river and less of the rock on the right

I really like the band of light across the mountains and the bluish/green tones in the water are very unusual for this part of the country. You must do a lot of hill walking to find such beautiful spots. I would love to see a winter version of this image with a bit of snow on the peaks and some ice on the falls. Well done John as you have yet again provided inspiration to the many aspiring Scottish landscape photographers.
