Impressive, absolutely impressive. I ready associated the shot to the very old movie "Metropolis"(F. Lang). Congrats.

Ursula...the logical part of my brain (unfortunately dominant at times) resists the fact that the rail is not in motion, given that is is supposedly stationary while the train races across it. Did you consider adding some motion to the rail? This is not to diminish this gorgeous photo, but to admit a shortcoming in my ability to enjoy imagination beyond my own abilities.
Ursula I Abresch  :) We agree for once! No, seriously, I did consider adding motion to the rail, to try and make it more "realistic". However, the motion isn't very realistic to begin with (it's more of a "POW" motion than a "ZOOM" motion, if that makes sense), and when I tried for more realism, it looked stupid (to me). So I opted for the disconcerting, slightly so hopefully, not so much that it becomes too cartoonish. Anyway ... I personally like the original without added motion quite a bit, but it is a bit on the busy side. Thanks for sharing your thoughts, King! :)

The dynamics work out vey well here, like the diagonal alignment and the light also!
Ursula I Abresch  Thank you, Sven. I was glad to be at this place at a time when the light "cooperated" with my intentions :)

Ursula,

I'm getting confused....not a flower or water in sight for your last two shots ;-) They are both wonderful examples of your skill and eye for a shot.

Cheers Chris
Ursula I Abresch  I aim to confuse :) Thank you, Chris. I actually love focusing on subjects other than trees, flowers, and water, but it so happens that I have a lot of trees, flowers, and water where I live, so I often am stuck (in my mind) on them. I sometimes would like to live in a big city again, and try my hand there, see what happens. We'll see ... :)

Ursula with her style. She blends anything.. flower, architecture and now transportation. Looking forward for streat/people photo in your style :D
Ursula I Abresch  Street/people photos would be wonderful to learn to do! I have wondered though, often, if it is something learned or if there is a basic ability that some people have to focus on "people" rather than "subjects". I think, for myself, there's a basic shyness, or, reluctance to get involved that has prevented me from even trying to explore that area, even though I find it fascinating. Thank you for your words, Sebastian!
