Another image from my 2 tours around Iceland in July.

The sunset at Jokulsarlon on the first tour was the most spectacular I have seen on my many trips to the iconic lagoon. The sunrise 2 hours later was equally spectacular but more on that later.

The perfect stillness of the weather added to it all by providing a really good reflection on the surface on the lagoon.

For this shot I decided not to shoot directly into the sunset as the light was very contrasty. I shot a little to the side of it which gave me less contrasty colors in the sky and better light on the icebergs as they go lit from the side.
