nevertheless that the female model looks so artificial and the mood of the photo is not what it should be, the shot is excellent with a very nice lighting and exposure.

Angela, could you tell me how and why the models look so soft? I don't feel it is coming from a focus shift, looks more like a post-processing to me. And what is our idea behind this? Thanks.

This is beautiful! I love the point of focus. That gives the image a softness without any effects or filters. It makes the fantasy effect much more real. I almost expect to see a unicorn prancing in the forested background. :)

I have to agree with Enrique, the models are blurred because the camera has focussed on the grasses behind them. I'm shocked and stunned to see this image accepted here. Hand picked, eh?
