Wild Maiden
The view from A' Mhaighdean (The Maiden), regarded as one of the most remote and beautiful scenes in the land.

This scene or indeed area in general will not be familiar to many people as it is one of the most remote locations in the UK and usually only accessed by intrepid folk who aim to climb a couple of the 3000ft mountains in its interior.

The distance to this viewpoint is around 15 to 20 miles from one of the access points, not particularly far you may say and indeed not truly wild but you still get a sense of expansive remoteness that is hard to come by in our overcrowded island these days.

Missed this on FP and I don't think we get to see your shots any more in Voting, John!! Love the depth and the lack of the most dangerous species in this world :)
John Parminter  I hardly submit any images to voting these days Charlie, half a dozen a month perhaps. Thanks for the comments.

Remote? Come on John, just behind the camera you'll find Joe's cafe and outback bar twenty feet from this vantage point. But well done on getting the shot sharp while juggling a cup of tea, three donuts and pork pie!
(Good shot!)
John Parminter  One handed shot whilst eating a cheese and jam butty if you must know...... Actually, considering that this is one of the furthest Munros to get to, it was like a scene from Blackpool beach on a sunny bank holiday up there, couldn't move for folk...

Great landsape. It's not so easy to capture great shoots in UK and Ireland cuz of the bad Weather. Well done ;-)
