At Bosque de Paz Lodge in Costa Rica the hummingbirds visited the feeders regularly and the Green-crowned Brillants dominated everything and everybody. They outnumbered the other species and were very agressive towards their own kind as well. The need for sugar makes it a everyman for himself war during the day. It did provide the photographer lots of oppertunaties to score these bold little creatures.
