Who says rain can't be fun?

It was the rainy season. The storm came as usual in the late afternoon. The market sellers' kids were ready for it. Games, and showers, and happy shrieks. Rarely had I seen such sheer and thoughtless joy.

It exudes the joy of the moment and the sheer abandon of it all that only children can truly engage in. The backward glance and the stance of the boy in front is wonderful, and I agree that the bare bottom in the back of the picture just makes it. I love the rain-spatter in front of the lens as well and the shine from the street. It is altogether a great street shot! Where was it taken?

Ah... la magia dell'arte. Quando si è di fronte ad un'Opera che esprime valori universali allora, e solo allora, scatta quel quid che ti tiene incollato all'Opera: e la guardi e la riguardi, e vai alla ricerca di ogni minimo dettaglio, e vorresti entrare ne quadro, farne farte, condividere quel momento di grande gioia...
