Henrik Just You`re right, Dare.
It´s captured in "no-mans-land" on the border between Finland and Russia.
I had 4 days in this area this summer.
I ended up in Sweden, Norway and also Finland this year on my "summer-trip" up north.
3 1/2 weeks, 7350 km., actually the same amount of shots as km`s and great experiences and beautiful scenery.

Dare Turnsek Luck you :)) ...... i'm also think about Finland next year. Have some places on that border in plan. When i finnaly decide to go, can i ask for some more spec. info?

I do feel lucky to have the opportunity to take these long trips up north each summer.

Henrik Just Exactly; Ursus arctos.
A little "funny" that it would have been a Ursus arctos arctos if it was captured just 300 km. to the west - in Sweden ;-))
But that how it is with those species / subspecies ;-))
