KPK  I believe that, my reply was a joke!
The light dome itself was extremely bright (you see all those glass windows) and the original photo has much less contrast than the photo you can see above. Also in reality was much less contrast, all was very bright and pure white. So, what you can see above is an image with a lot of contrast!

KPK  Thanks Guido! Yes, some ... but the Olympus 9 - 18 mm lens shows only minor distortions when the camera is angled correctly.
Guido Brandt  I admire your ability to align the camera/lens without noticeable horizontal and vertical distorsions. I use a spirit level on my camera, but have never achieved so a fine alignment. Well done!
KPK  There is a most affordable tool available called PTLens. With this tool you can correct distortions in regard of the used camera / lens / focal length. The tool is not expensive and worth every cent!

Aaaah the memory of childhood - appropriate because of being in the past here in b/w - of looking thru a kaleidoscope. One actually wants to turn the monitor to see the effect in the image :-)
