This works for me, I love it. I love the moment of capture, camera settings don't matter with a shot like this as it's about the moment. The only thing that would make this shot better for me would be that I captured it. ;) Great work!

Excellent shot and camera with the ISO of 2200.

Dan Deakin cheers. I'd normally have selected a lower ISO - I had just been in a dark alleyway and was unable to change the settings as my spare hand was trying to hold the umbrella keeping the camera dry.

The full frame D700 seems great even at 3200.

I love the action in this shot ! ... Did you manage to stay dry ?

Dan Deakin I was walking around holding an umbrella in one hand and the camera in the other. I couldn't really change camera settings but managed to stay dry. I had gone out to shoot some architecture with stunning thunder clouds in the distance but things changed when it started raining as hard as anything I can remember. It's a great way to shoot as no one notices a photographer hid under an umbrella when they're getting soaked.
