I just return Codrin as i read, what mrs Mackey wrote.
Like You, i have not the slightes understanding for thoughts like this in context of this work. Your work this and the portfolio in general) gives annd conveyes wonderful feelings. A mood I like to feel and "flow in".
If Mirs Mackey thinks that people praise what they do not like or think curators publish what they do not like or if Mrs macKay thinks positive thinking to be "xxx" this only offers insight in the world of Mrs MacKey, not into others.

Beautiful!

I'm a D200 user myself, and I really enjoy to see how true masters can produce such amazing photographs with an 'old' camera! It keeps my optimism on becoming a better photographer sky high! Thank you so very much for this B/W masterpiece!

Let me just say, I do like a couple of your images for the mood they convey, however there's some serious ass-kissing going on around here... just my two cents.

Codrin Lupei I appreciate your sincere words about my image. In a way you're right about that asskissing thing, though I always thought about it like a 'scratch my back I'll scratch yours' way :P Anyway, what I wanted to tell you is that I believe that right now you just choose the wrong picture and person to write this (not that I really care about it, it's ok for me to read absolutely everything, I know very well that what I am doing is not quite what people like to see), there are plenty into the 'most popular images' section who are doing this 'work', I was never, ever interested into it. Well, I am still happy that you like some of my pictures, this is what really counts in the end

Codrin Lupei Bjorn, these words are a very big compliment to me, I know very well that usually the lensbaby lenses are seen like a gimmick, well, my point of view is that absolutely all cameras and lenses could be seen like gimmicks (for example it's exactly how they are felt by many painters and sculptors, and in a way I tend to agree with them :) ), you know, it really depends about what we need and want...oh well, this is a long talk :) Many thanks again!

nee I do not like that. the river tilts slightly to the left.
not understand the sense of completely blurred.
could imagine that it would clear a lot more interesting.
I like the toning.

Codrin Lupei Hello Wilhelm, I can't see the slighltly left tilt of the river but I can tell you that what bores me most is usually the sharpness 'we' need for being very sure of what is in front of us, the details 'we' need to see for understanding that we are the same, but we are not...Anyway, it's nothing toned here, just blacks and whites, well, and some greys :) Thanks a lot for your sincere comment, I appreciate this a lot!
