I think that the shadow is incorrect. When the light would be from the back, such shadow in front of this guy would be ok, however when the light is from the front side, the vertical parts of the stairs should not be shaded.

The use of light is simply stunning, It is clear that behind your eyes there are Magritte, Dalì, some of the pop-art and some reminiscence of Caravaggio. The mainshadow falling down behind the man while intersecting the lateral one from the left wall gives a strange mood . . . it seems that this trip to the light is something more. It is an oniric trip. It is the ideal couterpart of the other work of yours 'passenger'. There the b/w gives a real feeling. Here the colour is used to transfigurate the reality.
This is not photography, my friend . . . this is art ! Congratulation.

Really most impressive creative edit work. The image creates a feeling of non-reality as a result of how you managed the lighting of the different parts in the image.

Very well Chris,I used to say for anyone who is going to critique forum or to piblish an image, or even for the new members Good Luck,I think now if I am going to say something to you ,then I will not mention the word Good Luck ,it seems to me more than ever that you do not need it ,as it was shown in this fine image,it is a talent I guess,and you have got it.
This image was among my choice at first fry .
Despite the war of the roses ,I am still waiting the reply to my third OE.
