Beautiful capture of a moment! Rain stopping play is not unusual but as I had said you seem to have a genius for looking where everyone looks and seeing rarely seen! and sharing with us! :)

Srinin Gerard, actually I am not "too generous". That wont be proper. I just express my reactions spontaneously when I see the works here. (Evidence? the no. of typos and improper constructions!) I truly admire your unique point of view often and has become a fan of your work!

gerard sexton I am guessing the nuclear tests?? but hey to compare ST's failure to that I do understand it is an atomic event! but I think it fair to say with or without he will remain one of the worlds greatest ever batsmen to have played the game! Today I returned from the Oval watching Surrey win against Derbyshire to clinch promotion to DIV I a great day & Pra Ojha took 10 wickets in the match 6 in the second innings wow he gets so much bounce! have a nice day!

Gerry, I looked at this for some time before I realized I was in a stadium of some kind. I just got captivated by the colors of all the brelles..Who says the English are conservative!!! Not this group. I like this shot A LOT. :) Phyl

gerard sexton Hi Ricky thanks my friend I went back to check out my camera was keeping dry under its cover & I just saw this moment all the other shooters were in the dry so a real bit of luck as it really does capture the intensity of the weather get in close & the rain is bouncing off the umbrella!
