beautiful portrait Tony. Do you mind if I ask where you placed the lights? I m able to see only 1 catchlight in her eyes. Did both flashes had the globe or 1 globe and one honeycomb?

No, mo problem the globe was used on the camera but firing backwards towards a wall, this gives a very soft light hence the one catchlight, because it is a globe it spreads the light in many directions with around 20% of the light going forwards and also hitting the ceiling creating a sort of front and top light.

the honeycomb was used on the hair to provide a small amount of light, the background again was lite by the globe from the bouncing light. simple but effective.

It's an otherwise nice portrait, except I don't like the shadow right under her cute nose.

Tony D Butterfly lighting is the cause but it is one off the best to my mind for portraits?

very nice portrait,and a very cute model,just wondering why there is no details at her dress ,only a very narrow rim near her hands,I think the SB900 and its younger sb800 are so powerful .

Tony D I used a Strobies Globe on the foreground slightly above her, she is waring a black jumper and i metered for the skin tones hence no details in the blacks as i wanted.
