Bat

Thanks for the nice comments and feedback.
This image is a creative edit.

Years ago I found the bat,which was dying,on the street in my village.I took it home and shot some pictures.It only lived for a few hours.When it was dead I took some more shots with the wings spread wide and backlighted it.In my gallery I have another version of the same bat.
The bat in this edited photo is a montage of a picture of the dead bat and the live one(the headpart).The moths are from a picture ,taken in The Netherlands.

Great and very nice work Jimmy,very well executed.At first sight I was wondered that this is real shot, but I did´t understand how could be one so quickly.., bats are flying in not very good light conditions and focus does´t work so quickly and properly there...

Thanks for the clarification Jimmy. I am new to this forum, I do not now anything about the practice here at 1X. Are there no rules for labeling images that are manipulated like this? Do not take this the wrong way. it's just that if I look at a documentary picture, I want to be shure that it really is a documentary image.

jimmy hoffman I understand that very well and I agree with you,Kai.It was my own mistake by not giving an explanation right away when I uploaded the photo.Obviously it's not clear enough to upload it in the 'creative edit' category.
I don't know exactly how the rules for labeling are here at 1x.com.I guess you'll find it in FAQ.

Kai Jensen I have learned with this that I can check which category the image is added in. And that the "Creative edit" category is manipulated images.

Great capture! Would I be right to suggest that the bat is not alive? The posture strikes me as a little odd and the wing membrane doesn't appear to have a live blood supply.

jimmy hoffman Bedankt voor je reactie,roeselien!Ben je d'r toch ingetuind,maar je was niet de enige zoals je kan zien.;)Was trouwens echt niet m'n intentie,hoor!Fijn te horen dat je 'm desondanks toch nog wel mooi vindt.Ik ben niet zo'n crack(eerder een kruk,haha)in dit soort fotobewerkingen,maar hier pasten de verschillende elementen zo goed bijelkaar(met name wat belichting betrof),dat 't resultaat verrassend en natuurlijk ogend bleek te zijn.

En dat komt eigenlijk omdat ik niet gewend ben dat je bewerkingen maakt,,,,,,,dus dat kan je ook heel goed!

Maar nog steeds my deep congratulations!! Ik vind het echt schitterend gedaan! En toevallig was ik op macrojacht met iemand vanmiddag en ik had het over jouw foto en diegene zei, misschien is hij bewerkt. Nee!! zei ik, want dat doet hij nooit! Hahahaha.....En nu ik het lees van de vleermuis weet weer ik dat je toen een dode had gefotografeerd.

Maar ik zie dat je het steeds moet vertellen onder de reacties, dit heb ik zelf ook een paar keer mee gemaakt en dan denk ik, mensen lees dan!!!! Hahahahaha....
