Joron, Your photograph is so powerful, that even without a title I would understand where this might be..or at least understand that a terrible conflict had happened here. You have managed to show part of the fence, the empty streets and dare I say - blood splattered walls. I cannot help wondering what it would take to change this? It brings back memories of Cyprus also, and seeing the division with armed guards on either side. Your photo is deceptively simple at first - and then it all clicks. Your vision here is wonderful.
