I had a dream. I was walking on a beach. I saw hundreds of blue sleeping bags, looking like body bags. I looked closer and saw human bodies laying in them. By a closer look I realized many of them were dead with rotten bodies. Some were still alive but dying. Ravens and vultures chewing and gnawing their opened viscus and they didn't fight against them, they didn't want to fight as if they were laying there for a wanted slow ugly death. I realized I was the only one who was seeing them, people were passing by without seeing as if they were not there...

PS: The object under the lamp is a sleeping bag with body inside and that in water is a coffin.

Kaveh H. Steppenwolf I'd better say it was a nightmare and not a dream. Well, a nightmare is actually a dream, but not a good one. hmm, don't think too much of Death if you don't want to have such dreams. But, your images are actually some kind of Death. Aren't they?

Kaveh, I may not have met you in person, but I have met your imagination...for sure...Your dream is so much like the experience of Monks going through an initiation process of learning what is is like to die; in order not to be afraid. Kaveh H. Steppenwolf hmm, the dream and the experience of dead were not really pleasant. It was not about being scared or not. It was rather like being tired of existence. Too tired to stand and awfully hopeless.

Phyllis Clarke Kaveh...The monks exercise is not meant to be pleasant...or to bring about the sacred..it is just to understand the impermanence of all things. I believe Jung would say that was a very powerful and important dream...yours to understand in a way that matters to you...Write it down. Still it is a wonderful image...

Dinu Bodescu Since it is about nightmares, I thought of the disquieting dreams of professor Isak Borg - the central character in one of my favorite movies: "Wild Strawberries" ... an exquisite dark mood film!
