An unusual shot for me as I shot directly into the Sun, it was partially obscured by cloud and so I think I have got away with it....

This is the valley between Buachaille Etive Mor and Beag at the top entrance to Glen Coe, the water is the river Coupall.

This works very well in B&W, love the wide-angle perspective, and yes: I do think you got away with shooting into the Sun!

I very much like this John. The foreground, the grass so crisp and the shadows amongst , and then the movement. You have done well with that 'against the light' sky. Such a challenging composition to work up afterwards.Well done!
John Parminter  Thanks Andre

Stop this b/w shinnanigins JP, far too moody!....;))) lovely shot, compositional excellence. mal
John Parminter  Indeed Mal, I'll be back to my normal tried and tested fayre soon enough, far too experimental for me anyway, pointing the camera at the Sun......

:-))

Very good and well composed b&w landscape.
John Parminter  In truth Brin, it was a bit experimental as I don't usually shoot into the Sun...

Let me Guess....too much green so you went BW! :p hehe I really like this one John, Great mood .
John Parminter  No Nicolas, there was hardly any colour contrasts as I shot directly into the Sun and also at this time of year most of the colour is actually washed out of the grasses before they start growing green, it was a bit experimental as well as I always seem to do the same types of shots and wanted to be different.
