This seemed like a fun evening that you all had, and yet the photographer in you made you take a step back and record this. And, may I say, quite effectively, as the man riding his chair closest adds that extra bit to the way we see this.

OK Petra - you can't just have this up here without giving the story behind it - so c'mon - dish!

Petra Oldeman I was asked to make a photo that could be used for the homepage of the band Stitches. Just tried to work with the objects and light available. Actually, it was just fooling around :)
I hope the band is happy with the result as well...

One happy family:) Wonderful photo, but also the rest of your gallery here by 1x.com is impressive.
can I ask what kind of filter you at your moved photos uses?

Petra Oldeman Thank you for your kind words Jacob. Most of the times i didn't use any filters for the "moved" photos. I just wait until it gets almost dark. On some of them i have used an ND filter to get a longer shutterspeed. And some of them were taken with vaseline on a neutral filter.
