It´s truly a mix of pure voodoo magic that you are so capable of capivating from your subjects & vice versa. You truly are a master of the in your face street portrait...you always seem to manage to extract the soul from the the drama that is life up front & center. May your winged it spirit always be so free, it is always a pleasure meastro Capers to see you in action.

Well I do miss these Greenwich Village - Halloween parades, but glad to see they are still having them. The LGBT community know how to live, and party. Last night I watched a documentary on Keith Haring...brought me back the 70s'and 80's in Manhattan. Your subject here is testimony to the spontaneity so many don't get to experience. New York, New York. Phyllis
Great!
Like your works Wings,
cheers!

New York City's the place where they say,
Hey babe, take a walk on the wild side....Lou Reed

Wings  That's a good song when you feel up for walking into the stream of wild life with your camera. Thanks man. You are one of the best.

As if someone made a stew mixing Dolly Parton, The Joker, Lars' imaginary girlfriend, a few optical illusion videos from youtube, a tribal warlord and the high priest of the same tribe, the bedroom decor of a 5 year old ghost hunter, and the before example from a toothpaste ad. Then poured the stew into a NYC back alley, where a cop cannot enter the hard hat area because of his relatively soft hat.

Your work is addictive madness!
Wings  Tommy, Its true I'm a fried photographer, that has a lot to say , stick my fingers at, upset a community of a few friends I long to meat and take them on a magical mystery tour of a one on one so you want to be a photographer journey that would kind of like an acid trip mixed with ecstasy while chanting the Druid radiant light mantra by a book peddler called Philip Carr-gom the chosen Druid Chief of (OBOD) ,while walking between the cracks of what some call the invisible city just for jokes. The ideals of being humanistic escapes the practice unless everyone is a rock, or tree , animal or spirit thing. In short there are no wings on anyone, as Carr-gom might have you imagine , but there are these people about us, and they are very real and do come out. He lives in the underground subway tubes and he did come out to play. The first image was rejected , AN NYPD was caught by my camera in the midst of harassing him. The Officer was surprised then left. This was the second shot. Story is something that is not understood here Often its just the picture and nothing else. but that's ok .I'm now exploring the underground of the invisible people in the subway tubes in one of the abandon lines.

Thanks for calling my work addictive madness. That is an honor and I can only hope you discover a few more of us "Mad Hatters with cameras. You are now a friend and I trust You call me a friend as well. Cheer from the wild side. If any lust you'll find your mad hat too. :))
Tommy Str  Yes my friend, I do hope I find my mad hat somewhere. But can be no place like to find it in NYC I imagine. Thanks for the long comment - interesting read

Ohh! Just thank you for your photos!
Wings  Serge SH, Thanks. Living here you have only two options. Ignore what is around you and see only the normal things that close off everything else or get your camera dirty and see what this city has done to those that fell off. I have an umbrella , yet far from the ground myself, I see things without a tour guide when I shoot the streets.

I'll be starting a sissy photography soon in some city for the fun of it. There will be a fee and we shoot for two days.

Serge Sh  I have to say... I find it really strange to try to express my appreciation of what you do but I can't help myself not to. Here something "from beyond", something transcendental in it. (As like your photos) I feel that now is too few really honest and brave people. I actually have something like dream to meet with you in real life. Thanks again)
Wings  Well I could say a lot, but please know. By your open conviction from your heart I am humbled and honored. Today here on 1x area a few kind shooters that I see as branches on a very tall tree close to heaven. Many thinks. Wings.
My efforts are not in vain and when an image of mine is elected. I can only say thanks before the tide goes back out to nod.

Gee you hang out with some strange women!
Wings  Bob sadly to say I have met some of the worse. One helped her bipolar that convinced her husband to blow his head off. Once discovering that one I was out the door, another that acted normal until I met her. She had a ton of pills, I found out she had a gold stint i her art . Turns out she had a stroke and accuses to my surprise her husband which I knew nothing of. Oh there there was the woman that said if I come she will love me. funny once there she could not speak a sentence and have any dialogue. Then there was some one that wanted to be bound. Well They are all 50 and try to act like they are 20 something. They don't have a life, but you learn that's on them and at their age I guess they'll never figure it out. However I'm sure Hall Mark slogans as the torn piece f paper they call love. Like is like box of chocolates. Until you open it up you don't know what's inside them. Once you see , then you know and the box is politely closes on my end even thought they tore their own box up scaring many other people. These experiences in life are not blunders but something to add on to how one sees the world around them with a camera . Where as other people with cameras are lucky to skim the surface. And think all people are so nice. When people shoot next time they should try to see the baggage in the streets and not the bimbos with jobs that are a size 4 . I like a very tiny man image. there you have great looking woman talking about the tiny size of some guy. Now that's street the ugly with glamor.
Bob Patefield  Perhaps you should try men for a change. That wasn't an offer BTW ;^)

Mmmm, nice pair of mellons.....
Wings  Yeah and I bet they would make great head cushions as the total package for someone with a flat screen TV, or better some sports photographer here that could use a little stability :))))) Thanks I find this shot very funny and real and I'm glad you like it.

We need a new category: Uncategorized! (with the exclamation mark). Or, perhaps: Mad Genius.

If you are reincarnated, as what will you come back?

I've never seen anything like this in my entire life.

Wings  To stump the King is and honor. Its so good to read you again. Always your friend.
