Liege-Guillemins is the main railway station of the city of Liege, in eastern Belgium. It is one of the most important transportation hubs in the country and is a stop on the high-speed train connection between Brussels and Koln (Cologne) in Germany. The station is used by 36,000 people every day.

This station by the architect Santiago Calatrava was officially opened in September 2009. It has 9 tracks and 5 platforms and is made of steel, glass and white concrete. It includes a monumental vault with a span of 180 metres constructed in glass and steel and two pedestrian bridges on a level above the tracks.

The title refers to an absurdist play with the same title written in 1948-49 by Samuel Beckett, in which two characters, Vladimir and Estragon, wait endlessly and in vain for someone named Godot to arrive. It was originally written in French ("En attendant Godot") and translated into English by the author.
